On oval plinth, sitting on rockwork, wearing original leather falconry hood and jesses with bells.

H. 53 cm

Note:

Quite probably this falcon was the favourite of a wealthy Victorian Englishman that had it mounted after it's death.
It was quite common for Victorians to mount their pets: the more pets you've had owned, the wealthier you were.
