Late 19th/early 20th century

One bird with its beak raised, both caressing one another in very naturalistic pose.

H. 35 cm


Including certificate by Jeroen Zoetmulder certified and independent valuer, stating that both birds are pre-1947.


Note:

These birds probably came from a Victorian display cabinet or glass dome, for they have been mounted interacting with each other. A restorer probably made them free-standing when the glass broke.
