Two branches sprouting from a brain coral base, the red coral of vibrant colour and very pure.

Including a certificate by Jeroen Zoetmulder certified and independent valuer, stating that the object is pre-1947.

Provenance:
L.t. Commander W.E. Darwall, who formed his collection during his numerous overseas postings in the first part of the 20th century.
