Late 19th-early 20th century, one unmarked; one with mark AUN900 under a crown; and one marked MOL
 

Hand-pounded with floral patterns in the traditional Cambodian style.

Weight 298, 268 and 197 grams

 

Note:

The silver is hand pounded with floral patterns in the traditional style of Cambodian silversmiths. Cambodian silversmiths are considered experts at chasing, repoussé, niello, enameling and gilding. Boxes such as these were important accessory for the storage of betel nuts, opium, balms, traditional medicines and small jewels.
